Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of dreams. Her parents were a loving mother, who was a fan of films. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and especially captivated by dramatics. She loved to play act alongside her peers and was a participant in her school's stage productions. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She attended the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. The program was awarded to her by PBS to produce documentaries over 3 months. When she was successful in completing the assignment, she began working as an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. She then moved to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to become an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she has played in many well-known television and film shows.
